2008 -- Vaul·lee (pronounced "volley") is a cooperative based game, inspired by the Atari classic, Pong. The game rewards team-play by challenging players to sustain a single volley for as long as possible. Hiting the ball past your teammate ends the game; points are given for each succesive volley.

Recent versions of the game have relied on a rudimentary AI to act as a surrogate teammate. Upcoming versions promise real-time multiplayer support, enabling two players to volley concurrently from seperate locations.

Hours after it's launch, the site was picked up by bloggers and technology publications such as Mashable, Red Herring, CNN, and Fortune. Although most bloggers saw the site as a legitimate startup, the site was created as a simple experiment into the concepts of paid citizen journalism.

At the request of Youtube and Google, the site was subsequently closed.
